Pearl has always been so sweet to me. I love the ocean and water so it’s always been very significant that this spherical gem is formed underwater. It feels like a mystical gift from the mollusk. This pearl also happens to be my best friend’s birthstone. While making this piece, I thought about friendship. I later read that pearls are known to represent the journey of the soul.
